Adult Leader Training Opportunities

"Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader"

    ALL of the following courses are required for an Adult to be considered "Trained" as a Leader
    1. Fast Start Training
      • Should be completed by ALL Scout Parents
      • Completed online (see information & link below)
    2. Youth Protection Training
      • Should be completed by ALL Scout Parents
      • REQUIRED for all adults attending Bartle (except visitor's Day)
      • Completed online (see information & link below)
    3. New Leaders Essentials Training
    4. Assistant Scoutmaster Job Specific Training
    5. Boy Scout Outdoor Leader Skills Training (campout)

    All of these Training Courses (except Fast Start & Youth Protection) are offered by the Local Boy Scout Districts.   Troop 10 is in the Trailhead District.  Leaders may take these training courses in any of the 13 Heart of America Council Districts.

    PLEASE NOTE: If you complete a training course in any District other than the Trailhead District (OR ON-LINE), you MUST send verification to our District Training Registrar, Rich Rinke, at THDTrainingReg@hotmail.com or mail it to him at: Rich Rinke, 15422 Robinson, Overland Park, KS 66223
