Bill Haner Very positive feedback about Bike
Campout. Would like to do the Katy
Trail from a different section next time.
We will help the scouts prepare better for skits at campouts.

Scoutmaster and Glenn is the new Grubmaster
Terry Ellis Thanked Glen and Herb for a great
campout meal for The Old Goats.
Chris DAdamo Reported on troop finances.
Stu Sharp Reported that the Venture crew has some
money in their account but that the crew has been inactive.
Glen Alexander Continues to look at possible new
trucks at Fed Ex.
Greg Spies Equipment needs: we will need more tent
pegs.

We have another
available tent awning if scouts want to use it for cooking when it is raining.
Bill Haner There will be a camp box inspection in
the next few weeks. This will address
dirty and broken equipment. A number of
people expressed concern about filthy equipment. There was a lot of discussion.
It was decided that this will be addressed at the end of each campout.
Brent Reynolds Logs for last leadership term were
due April 1st.
Greg Kent We have five scouts working on projects
that will hopefully be complete by the next Court of Honor. One other 16 year old scout may need a
mentor to be able to reach Eagle.
Joe Johnson Eagle Court on April 25th. Seven scouts parents meetings currently on
Monday nights.
Rick Isham Thanked everyone for their help on Bike
Campout.

Fishing Campout / OA
Tapout Greg Williams will run the fishing derby and Jim Wasko will get the
prizes. Bob Lehleitner will drive the
truck. Mustangs will arrive on Saturday
morning.
§
May is Canoe
Campout; we will drive to site in Friday night and canoe on Saturday.
Ted Fuehr Brought proposals for T-shits for the
canoe trip. It was decided to get red
shirts with white and yellow print. At
campout signups, we will ask that people indicate what size they want.
Bill Haner The scouts are having a contest to
design the Bartle shirt for this year.
Bryce Wells High Adventure: Eighteen are signed up
for Boundary Waters Trip. There is room
for six more to sign up until the end of May.
Greg pies. - HH scouts had an eight ten mile hike
at the last campout. There are eighteen
signed up. There is still room for more
scouts.
Herb Strain Talked about possible 2005 Philmont spots
through the HOAC Contingent.
Bill Haner June 14th through June 19th
is Brown Sea 22, a leadership and advanced training conference at Naish.
Bryce Wells Jamboree 2005
Terry Ellis Bartle update: Discussions have
started. He will be campmaster. His assistants are Glenn Alexander, Greg Williams
and Will Easley April 19th
will be signup. Booklets will be
distributed tomorrow and are on the web.
April 28th is Bartle parents meeting. May 26th will be adult leader
orientation at Stus barn.
Herb Strain Bartle Health forms are new to comply
with HIPAA. Every scout must have a new
Class I form.
Terry Ellis Adults must be registered leaders and
have youth protection to spend the night at Bartle.
Ted Fuehr Brought a sample Frisbee to help us
decide whether to order new ones. It
was decided we will order 300 of them.

Discussed options
for ordering new shirts for adult leaders.
It was decided that we would order fifteen red and 35 clay colored shirts.
Ken Roberson Discussed possibility of scouts doing
service projects with Leawood Rotary.
He felt we should get better use from our sponsor organization and
possibly ask them to help us with money for our truck.
Terry Ellis and Bill Haner Will make a scout
presentation to the Rotary Club on April 15th.
Stu Sharp Went on Medical Mission with Dave Lyons
to Honduras.

Discussed leadership
youth training through the Overland Park Rotary Club from July 25th
July 30th. Would like to have
four scouts that would be interested.
Bill Haner Round Table: There is a new pack - #3333, at St. Michaels. There was discussion of categories of new
parents. John Heather suggested each
troop send someone to the Life to Eagle Process meeting. On April 17th is Mic-O-Say celebration
at Bartle Hall. There is also a
Mic-O-Say time capsule being put together.
Herb Strain New registration cards will be
distributed as soon as they come in.
Terry Ellis April 7th is new parents
meeting.

Will Easley Commented on how ASPLs were helpful to
other scouts on the last campout.
Jim Wasko Will do physical training with new scouts
tomorrow night for advancement requirements.
