5.          Scoutmaster Update - Greg Spies/Jim Cook

a.          Report – Cook

                                                                                                                             i.               Leadership recruiting has been going on to get at least 2 deep for Color Team Leaders

                                                                                                                           ii.               Goal is to strengthen leadership at the Color Team leader level

                                                                                                                         iii.               Will Fuehr is back this Fall and will assist Jim Cook directly

                                                                                                                          iv.               Monday night meeting agenda planning has begun

                                                                                                                            v.               Mustangs will be assigned to patrols before school/meetings start

 

b.         Senior Patrol Leader - Matt Boresow/Bill Gurney

a.          $2,400 has aged significantly

b.         Proposal is to write off this amount

12.      Honor Programs

a.          O/A  - Rob Baker

                                                                                                                           ii.               O/A TR position for scouts is open – Rob looking for candidate – 1 Yr. position

                                                                                                                           ii.               Discussion planned at 1st meeting and/or campout regarding the fact that the slate has been wiped clean at the start of the year

1.          Some scouts were disappointed that they weren’t elevated because of meeting attendance

2.          Great summer camp with many older scouts helping out

3.          3 yellow paints earned this summer

 

13.      Community Service Projects

a.          Urban Outreach, Delano School and Pioneer Trails District – John Ahart

1.          Motion made and seconded.  Discussion.

3.          New vests will be required and provided by county but Troop will need to assume financial responsibility

                                Approx. $1,000 – approved – Leeper to inventory and hold for semi-annual cleanup duty.
