= WHO SHOULD ATTEND= :

= = ; ALL 1^st Year Scouts (even if not attending summer camp). Any interested adult, parent or leader, Instructors, Troop Guides. A= ny older Scouts interested in helping our new Scouts

= Schedule: &= nbsp; M= eet at Prairie Star Middle School at 8:00am, Saturday, May 30^th. Leave for campsite at 8:15am and return home Sunday morning.=

·      =             Part of First Class Cooking= (Req. #4a-d). Prepare - IN ADVANCE, a written response for th= ese requirements:

·      =             Plan a patrol menu for breakfast, lunch & supper

·      =             Make a list of food costs and amounts to feed 3 people

·      =             List pans, utensils and other gear needed to cook & serve these meals

·      =             Describe safe food handling, storage & disposal=

·      =             Other Second and First Class Requirements.

·        &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;        Proper flag raising/lowering etiquette

·        &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;        Identify 10 plants

·        &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;        Identify signs of 10 types of animals

·        &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;        Orienteering Skills

·        &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;        First Aid requirements for rank advancement<= /p>

·      =             Environmental Science Merit= Badge prerequisite work

·      =             Cemetery Conservation/Service Project.

= Food/Cooking:          1^st Year Scouts = will plan and cook all meals. Each= 1^st Year responsible for planning and providing all necessary food, recipes, cooking utensils and other ingredients to cook three meals (hot lunch, hot dinner and hot breakfast) meals for 3 people: themselves, an adult & an older Scout. (refer to 1^st Class Req. #4a-d)

TRUCK LOADING:

    =         One of the dads of a First Year Scout will need to drive the troop truck to and from the campout. Please contact Scott Brown; campmaster@bsatroop10.org = or Chuck Gibson; quartermaster@bsatroop10.org to volunteer.

ALL First Year Scouts are responsible to load the truck on Friday, May = 29^th at 6:00pm and unl= oad the troop truck on Sunday morning after the campout. Meet at Troop 10 Storage Locker at 133^rd &= amp; Holmes Road= in Martin City.

= Directions:        &= nbsp;       Take 143rd Street east to Hwy. 150 just = past Kenneth Road. Turn right on Hwy 150 east and the= n turn right (south) on Holmes Ro= ad. Take Holmes Road south to 195^th Street. Turn left (eas= t) on 195^th Street<= /st1:Street>. Take 195^th 3.2 miles un= til it ends. You will be at the camp= site.
