Joe Johnson and Larry Lehman for a great Eagle Court of Honor.

Herb Strain for the great Webelos presentation.

Bill Haner – Also thanked Herb for the Webelos presentation

There were 30 – 35 scouts at the Squaw Creek campout.  They had a good time.

Brent Reynolds – Is busy preparing for December Court of Honor

Scouts must see him by December 8th to have anything counted for the Court of Honor.

Herb Strain – January campout: He is trying to work out financial arrangements.  It was decided we would go separately from the district’s skiing trip and camp by the parking lot rather than at the Lewis & Clark campground.  It will be on January 23, 2004.

Ted Fuehr – February campout: Cosmosphere; we will sleep in the YMCA Facility.

Terry Ellis – Sign up for Boundary Waters trip to happen on December 15, 2003.

Herb Strain – Philmont 2004:  We asked for certain dates for crews for HH Ranch.

Philmont 2005:  We are waiting to hear whether we got a date.  We requested ten crews on various dates.

Chris D’Adamo – Reported on Financial Statement.

Greg Spies – Would like us to remind people to contribute to F.O.S.  We have not yet made our goal.

Terry Ellis – We continue to receive money from Price Chopper & Hen House at a minimal level.

Herb Strain – Reported on Swimming and Lifesaving Merit Badge classes.  We are paying for assistants for the teacher that we need to budget for.

Glen Alexander – Looking for possible replacements for the Troop Truck.  We are looking for a 14’ box with a low dock.  We have a budget in mind.

Terry Ellis – Commented on the Webelos night.  Parent presentation went well with a lot of questions.

January 12, 2004 is the next Webelos night.

Herb Strain – Discussed that some Webelos groups were not present and sent some personalized letters to them.   We were invited to do a presentation to one of them.  Basically, membership is doing well.

Terry Ellis – Roundtable discussion was on packs that are crossing over into scouts and

which packs are primary feeders for which troop.

Glen Alexander – OA Winter Banquet is January 3, 2004:  $25.00

He is to send out notice to have members re-up

Tapout to be in four months

OA elections on April 5, 2004.

Greg Spies – Mic-O-Say:  June 12, 2004 is 75th Tribal Feast.  Sign up in online.  There is a bus available to go down there.  It will not be a workday.

Terry Ellis – PSMS will no longer bill us for going to meetings there.  We will be billed about &250.00 for problems in the recent past.

Thanked Jim for helping getting the problem turned around.

The group discussed disruptive talking by some scouts at troop meetings.  We may elicit the help of that scout’s parents if a problem persists.

Mark McCarty – Habitat for Humanity rehab house:  We will have a joint community service project to complete with the Leawood Rotary Club.

Terry Ellis – On January 31, 2004 at Brookridge Country Club is the District Adult Recognition Event: $25.00 per person.  Guest speaker is General Rutherford, tank commander at Desert Storm.  Information about it will be on the website.
