Greg Kent needs 12 leaders for the next Eagle Board of Review on 2/19
Joe Johnson parents meeting for next Eagle Court of Honor will begin
3/8 so far, there are 7 possible candidates location not established yet
Rick Isham Feb campout is Cosmosphere 36 scouts and 18 adults are
signed up so far we will be sleeping at the Salvation Army another troop
will be there too there will be a continental breakfast and lunch will be at
the Jr. College Class A uniforms are required
Rick Isham March campout will be a bike trek location to be
announced

Greg Spies we will buy new tents when it is determined how many new
scouts there will be
Chuck Gibson Glenn Alexander may have a source who would donate a
truck
Herb Strain membership we continue to invite packs to our meetings
and to strengthen our contacts with the packs we will participate in Blue and
Gold dinners when we can we will provide neckerchiefs and slides for cub
scouts crossing over to our troop
Herb Strain we have had some scouts not sign up again in the troop
Terry Ellis announced adult leadership training sessions coming up
they are listed on the website
Larry Lehman brought up idea from other troops who pay dues for their
Eagle Scouts from the discussion it was felt that payment of dues would not
influence retention of older scouts we will consider instead whether we will
allow SPLs and previous SPLs to eat with the Old Goats at campouts same with
any JASMs if we have any scouts in this role
Mark McCarty Habitat for Humanity requires teens to be 16+ to
participate
Herb Strain Scouting for Food Day will be in the Council Service

Super Saturday for different types of leadership training
Will Easley thanked Greg S for help with an issue with scouts at the
last meeting
The committee decided that there will be no food or drinks at the troop
meetings coats and sweat shirts must be taken off prior to the flag ceremony
Brent Reynolds suggested that patrol leaders be responsible for making
sure the scouts are dressed properly and recorded on the attendance sheets
Bill Haner thanked Herb and Terry for the work they did at the district
dinner and the recognitions that were given:

Steve Ornduff Outstanding Leadership Coordinator
Stu Sharp Outstanding COR
Herb Strain JLT is scheduled for 2/23 along with PLC
