Thanked those that attended his promotion ceremony. Troop elections completed. Deputy ASPL’s will
be announced within the next couple of weeks.
William Seabaugh was elected SPL. Scott Weaver appointed Mitch Smith to be
Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. Patrol
leader cards are due by February 26.
Advancement Brent Reynolds
Scoutmaster conferences should not
be given unless the scout has a Scout Spirit card. Scoutmaster’s should
not give full credit if the scout did not perform the leadership position up to
standard. It is ok to give partial
credit or make a deal with the scout to do something above and beyond to get
full credit. Scribes should give
attendance forms to William Easley during the troop meeting. Scouts are responsible to check the website
to make sure attendance has been recorded accurately. Ted Fuehr will
setup a table next to Brent Reynolds during the meetings to establish an area
for leadership questions.
Clarence Krantz
Alex Borchof completed his project
write-up. Morgan Baker needs more
leadership hours and has been granted an opportunity to conduct an additional
leadership project prior to his 18th birthday. Ten scouts scheduled for the
Spring Eagle court on April 29.

February campout is scheduled for the 9th -11th
at Rich Caffrey’s farm in Lucienne, KS. It will be a pioneering event and the scouts
will build a shelter to sleep in. The
scouts will also be engaged in orienteering, observing and reporting. 16 scouts currently signed up. Campout may be
postponed due to cold or snow. Motion
was made to move the meeting to the 23rd – 25th. Motion approved and the campout has been
moved. JLT will stay the same. Rich Caffrey requested
that large trees not be cut and no oak trees be cut. Any trees that are cut should be cut very low
to the ground. Scouts are not allowed to
go near the ice. City water and phone
