1)      Introductions & Opening Comments – Blake Williams opened meeting @ 5:00 PM

a)      Welcome and introductions

b)      Volunteers needed: Secretary, Grubmaster, Advancement assistant, Attendance, BOR/SMC coordinator

c)      New Scoutmaster discussion – Jim Cook has agreed to be nominated as Scoutmaster

i)        Many seconds

ii)       No discussion

iii)     Voice vote – All Yea – Jim elected

 

2)      Scoutmaster Update – Greg Spies

a)      Report

b)      Senior Patrol Leader – Matt Boresow

i)        Older scouts did a great job at the last campout

ii)       Planning on great transition at bartle

 

3)      Bartle – Jim Cook

a)      Update

i)        139 Boys

ii)       96 adults

iii)     Each ASPL has been made a Pod leader to improve communication

iv)     Have a high number of 10,11 & 12th grade boys attending camp this year

v)      Keep in mind – boy led troop

b)      Recommendation Troup purchase a laptop by Brent Reynolds to load troopmaster & access

i)        Bob Key has volunteered to bring his laptop and do all computer work needed

ii)       Jeff Muchow also volunteered to donate a laptop to the troop – discussion tabled

c)      Still need an enclosed trailer for Bartle

 

4)      Finance – John Martin

a)      Treasurer’s report – No report

 

5)      Community Service Projects – John Ahart

a)      Delano, July 2

i)        Wheatly School – 26th & Agnes

ii)       OA dancers will assist

iii)     Details to follow – better space than last year

b)      Other – No other projects discussed

 

6)      New Business/Open Discussion – All 

a)      Locker Cleanout – next Saturday – June 12.

i)        Need Powerwashers

b)      Scott Brown - Over the past 10 campouts – 1,500 campers and adults – 2,200 camping nights

c)      Scott Bower - Youth Protection Training – District isn’t picking up people who are registering only under their name and aren’t using their BS ID#

 

Blake Williams adjourned the meeting at 5:35PM and the committee reviewed and discussed Mic-O-Say nominations.
