Friday, as possible

“Old Goat’s will prepare breakfast for all adults

Patrols should bring or plan to prepare a sack lunch

“Old Goat’s will provide & prepare a sack lunch for all
adults
Equipment Needed: You will need cold weather
clothing (coats, gloves, hats), extra dry clothing to change into at night
(socks, sweats, t-shirts, stocking hats, long underwear, etc.), cold weather
sleeping bag, ground mat, eating mess kit, and rain gear. Patrols need to work
together to make sure that patrol tents (poles & stakes) & tarps,
stoves and cooking boxes (cleaned and properly stocked) are brought to camp
by assigned patrol members. Tents have all been assigned to patrols and
are not available from the Troop equipment stores. Please check these Tents BEFORE the campout to make
sure that ALL parts are accounted for.
Call your patrol leader and Quartermaster if you have any
questions. Paper goods & cups
will not be provided to Scouts or Adults.
Bring your Scout Handbooks.

Coordinating Patrol: The coordinating patrol will be the Indian
Patrol. One of the parents of an Indian Patrol Scout will need to drive
the troop truck to and from the campout. The Indian Patrol Scouts and ALL
quartermasters are responsible to load the truck on Thursday, January 16th
at 6:00pm and unload the troop truck on Saturday evening.
Patrols need to work together to make sure the patrol has all of the items listed for sled competition. The Troop will not provide these items.

Tarp – no smaller than 6’ by 12’ (1 per patrol)

Twine for Lashing

Rope –Each Scout in a patrol should have a 10’
section on the sled or the patrol should have a rope that can be cut into
lengths of 10’’.

Water Container(s) with at least 2 Gallons of water.

Compass

Bow Saw with Blade Protector

Matches (Strike Anywhere type) or other fire starting
material

Cooking Utensils (Pot to boil water in)

Blanket or Sleeping Bag

Directions: Drive
south on Kenneth Road from 135th, 143rd or 151st
Street. Kenneth is the first major
street east of Mission Road. Continue
driving about 0.9 miles south of 151st Street where Kenneth Road
turns left (east) at a T intersection.
(You will be continuing on 159th Street if you don't make
this turn) Turn left onto Kenneth Road
to the East and follow the road as it curves back to the South and follow it
until you reach 175th Street.
This will be a T intersection with an old cemetery in the Northwest
corner. Turn left and drive east about
0.2 miles to the intersection of State Line Road. Turn right and drive south on State Line 1.0 mile to a drive on
the right (west) at 18302 State Line Road.
Turn right (west) and drive about 0.2 miles to a house where the drive
turns to the right (north). Slowly proceed up the drive to the north until you
reach the parking area.
